5-A-Side - Sunday 30th October

It's that time of year again and we are pleased to announce we are back to for this year’s Supporters Club 5-A-Side tournament. The club have a good record to date, can we go on and claim our first win? Please contact the club at info@sydneynisc.com for further info.

The club held the 2011 AGM at Harry's famous Belfast bar. in April.

Club Movember Mo Bros Raised $2,785
All the money is finally in for Movember and I am glad to announce we raised $2,785.00. All details are on the Movember website under Norn Iron Mo Bros. Great effort by the lads and all for a good cause.

2010 Home Nations Football Event

Norn Iron competed well in the second annual home nations (with aussie and RoI teams). The RoI went on to win the comp and by all accounts they had the best team. We'll be back for another crack at the title in 2011.

A second 2010 Supporters Clubs 5-A-Side Tournament was held in Harbord on Sunday 15th with Norn Iron getting pipped by a single goal in the Semi-final. It was a good run out and warm up for the coming Home Nations championship.

Sydney NISC's New President - Steven Davis

Club memebers presented Steven Davis with a Sydney NISC polo when in town with Rangers dring a fantastic week of football. Steven is now the honorary president of the club.

Feb 5-A-Side Comp:

Club members did Our Wee Country proud in a country and club supporters 5-A-Side comp in Feburary. The guys game through a competitive league format and held out bravely against strong opposition in Everton and the Republic of Ireland to progress in a final agaisnt a tallented Benfica. The Portugese game out winers but the guys can be proud of a great effort and everyone had a fantastic day out in the sun. Maybe next year we can go one better......................
